Wedding Scrapbook

Hello Friends,

Hope you are doing great!

Today I want to share with you a wedding scrapbook I recently made.

It was a 6"x 8" scrapbook with a 4" spine and had 7 inner leafs. Each inner leaf has a pocket and a pull out mat which can hold 2 4"x6" photos. It can accommodate approximately 70+ photos overall. It has a side ribbon closure.

The front has a photo mat to slip in a oval picture. And has names for bride and groom with their wedding date on it.

Here is an another pic of the front page.

These are the first two pages. The left side is a zig zag pull out which can hold up to 4"x6" 15 photos. The right side is a pocket with two tags for photos and journaling. Additional photos can be slipped in the pocket.

Upcycled wine bottles!!

Hello everyone !!!!

Today I want to share with you two altered wine bottle projects I did last month. We all have old glass bottles lying around the house. What could be a better way to recycle old stuff into new! This was my first attempt at decoupage and though I know my skills need lot of polishing I’m quite happy with the results. J

I have used chalk paints & tissues in both the projects & loved how each has a different look.

The first one is a bottle upcycled in shabby chic theme decorated with burlap twine and glass beads. In love with the soothing color and floral print. It has a very elegant vintage look to it. I must say that the script and the burlap adds so much grace to it. This one has been my favorite so far!

The second bottle is another of my favorite floral print with a stamp as the focal point which says “Where there is Love there is life”. I embellished the neck with a golden ball bead chain and a flower to match with. I also added a smaller flower and a butterfly die cut at the stamp edge. There is also a blue lace at the bottom.

Here’s how both of them look together. J

Now wouldn't they make a lovely gift! 😉

Hope you liked my projects! Eager to see your comments.

Thank you,
Love & Hugs!

Repurposed old plates to a new organizer!

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing an upcycled project with you. I had a few old dinner plates lying around and I was in a dire need of an organizer for my stuff! ðŸ˜› So I made one for myself. ðŸ˜‰

Sorry, I don’t have step by step pics but I assure you it's easy peasy.

The first thing to do was to gather the materials. I wanted it to be a 3-tier so I took 2 big and 1 small plate. I had empty kitchen roll and toilet roll. I coated the rolls and plates with one layer of gesso and then stenciled them with gold and teal color. I painted the rolls with golden acrylic paint. Then I assembled the stand by gluing it with silicon glue and voila! The organizer was ready.

Supplies used:
Camlin Gesso
Stencil
Golden acrylic paint
Sailing sky chalk paint from Itsy Bitsy
Silicon glue from Itsy bitsy

Let me know if you find it useful. I’d love to hear your ideas about upcycling. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I will be grateful to hear from you & truly appreciate your feedback. Have a crafty day!
